About Within
Invitation to your WITHIN
I never planned to start a beauty brand. I was an advertising producer. My job took me everywhere — shooting campaigns across continents, living out of suitcases, working through jet lag, irregular sleep, early calls and late wraps. My body kept moving. My scalp kept suffering.
I've had seborrheic dermatitis since I was young. Most people don't know what that means until I describe it: a scalp that's always red, always sensitive, always reacting. If I used the wrong product — something with harsh chemicals, something from a supermarket shelf without reading the label — my scalp would sting, flake, itch, and shed. All at once. Every hairdresser I've ever sat down with has said the same thing: "Your scalp is really red." I'd just nod. "I know."
The life I lived made it worse. Time zones, overnight flights, three days awake and then crashing for two. My skin became more reactive. My hair more fragile.
But that same life gave me access. Traveling the world for work meant I could try anything — products recommended by editors, stylists, dermatologists. Whatever was trending on social media, whatever won awards, whatever people swore by. I tried it. I could afford to try it. I had every reason to find something that worked.
Some were decent. Some were terrible. But nothing made me stop and think — this is it. Nothing was impressive enough to build a life around.
I know every brand says that. “I tried everything and nothing worked, so I created this.” I didn’t want to be that story. I actually sat with the question: did I really try everything? Was nothing truly good enough? Starting a brand takes years and real money. I wasn’t going to do it unless I was certain.
Then zeolite came into my life.
I found it through horseback riding — one of the few things that kept me grounded through all the travel. A dearest friend I met through riding — someone with a background in health science who had spent years researching natural detoxification — introduced me to a formula built around zeolite, a volcanic mineral I’d never heard of.
I used it once. No redness. No stinging. No reaction. I used it for a week. Then a month. My scalp calmed down in a way it never had before. The redness that hairdressers had pointed out my entire life — it started to fade. I wasn’t just managing my condition anymore. Something was actually different. Wait… this is fine? Actually fine?
But I wasn’t going to trust my own experience alone. I looked at the science. The formula had been independently tested at a European research university — with results showing zeolite’s ability to draw out toxins and heavy metals at levels I hadn’t seen in any product I’d used before. Clinical studies. Lab certifications. ISO standards. The data confirmed what my scalp already knew.
I’ll be honest — the conditioner formula took me a moment to love. The scent was stronger than what I was used to. As someone who grew up with the lighter, subtler fragrances in Korean beauty, it caught me off guard. But the results were undeniable. My hair felt nourished in a way it hadn’t before. And the scent faded quickly. I got used to it. Then I started to like it.
That honesty matters to me. I’m not going to tell you everything is perfect. I’m going to tell you what’s real.
I’m Korean. I grew up surrounded by K-beauty — arguably the most advanced, most competitive beauty market in the world. I’ve tried more products than most people will in a lifetime. For someone from that world to put her name behind something that isn’t K-beauty — so when I tell you this is different, I need you to understand how much it took for me to say that.
WITHIN exists because I wanted to share this with people like me. People whose scalps have been an afterthought. People who’ve tried everything and settled for “good enough.” People who care about what goes on their body but are tired of brands that care more about packaging than ingredients.
Pretty packaging and trendy colors have their place. But health doesn’t wait for a rebrand. The earlier you start protecting what’s yours — your scalp, your hair, your daily ritual — the better.
That’s what WITHIN is. A conviction I couldn’t keep to myself. Clean isn’t a trend for us. It’s personal.

Meet Zeo.
Zeo is WITHIN's first ritual care line — built around zeolite, a volcanic mineral that purifies at the deepest level. Zeolite doesn't mask. It removes. Toxins. Heavy metals. Buildup. The things that build up on your body that you never asked for.
It starts with your scalp — because that's where most damage goes unnoticed the longest.
Zeo Shampoo — deep purification.
Zeo Conditioner — deep nourishment.
Two products. One ritual. Built to work together.
But zeolite's potential doesn't end at your hair. WITHIN is a platform for mineral-powered care. Zeo is the beginning. What comes next starts from the same conviction: nature, backed by science, applied where your body needs it most.
Not masking. Removing.
A natural mineral formed from volcanic ash over millions of years. Its cage-like molecular structure carries a natural negative charge — attracting and trapping toxins, heavy metals, and impurities at a level most products never reach.
That’s the difference between looking clean and being clean.
Our formulas are independently tested at a European research university. We combine zeolite with other clinically tested active ingredients — carefully balanced to maximize effectiveness without compromising safety.
Every claim we make, we can show you the data for.
We show our work.
Every ingredient in a WITHIN formula is chosen for one reason:
it earned its place.
A volcanic mineral with documented detoxifying properties. Then we build around it with active ingredients that are clinically tested, naturally sourced where possible, and never filler.
We don't chase trends. We don't add ingredients for label appeal. If it doesn't perform in the lab, it doesn't go in the bottle.
93.45% natural origin (Zeo Shampoo).
98.94% natural origin (Zeo Conditioner).
Those aren't marketing numbers. They're what came out of the lab. Certified. Documented. Ours.
Every product page lists every ingredient. Every percentage is exact. If you want to look it up, we want you to. That's the point.
Not perfect. Just honest.
We believe clean means showing your work. Not claiming it. Proving it.

Your scalp and skin are not a trend. They're part of your body. What you put on them enters your life every single day.
Pretty packaging matters. But health doesn’t wait. The earlier you start protecting what’s yours, the better.
We’re not here to convince you we’re perfect. We’re here to show you we’re honest.
Not perfect. Just honest.
